 About Split Fiction

In Split Fiction, players step into the worlds of Mio, a grounded sci-fi author, and Zoe, a hopeful fantasy novelist, who are thrust into their own creations by a machine designed to steal their imaginations. Now trapped in a narrative multiverse, the two must work together to escape—while discovering friendship, identity, and creativity along the way.

This ever-evolving co-op experience features:

  • Cinematic split-screen co-op gameplay

  • Radically different environments and mechanics

  • Side Stories with fresh challenges and wild scenarios

  • Crossplay support and the return of the Friend’s Pass, allowing one player to invite a friend to play for free

“Split Fiction is all about playing with contrasts—sci-fi and fantasy, logic and imagination, control and chaos,” said Josef Fares. “And with Side Stories, we’ve been able to pack even more surprises into every chapter.”
