Square Enix’s cult RPG masterpiece returns with a breathtaking HD remaster exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Bravely Default Flying Fairy renders Luxendell and its crystalline realms in native 4K/60fps docked (1080p handheld), rebuilt with physically based rendering (PBR), dynamic lighting, and enhanced particle effects. ClayTechWorks leveraged the Switch 2’s tensor cores for AI upscaling of original 3DS assets, adding new geometry to environments like the floating temple of Ancheim. “We preserved the Yoshida art style but amplified its depth,” says art director Kenji Matsuoka. “Each crystal now refracts light realistically – it’s a 15-year-old game reborn.”
