The Alters

The Alters is a narrative-driven sci-fi survival game from 11 bit studios, creators of This War of Mine. Stranded on a hostile, radiation-soaked planet, a lone worker named Jan creates alternate versions of himself—“the alters”—each shaped by different life choices and skillsets. As Jan battles isolation, dwindling resources, and the encroaching environment, he must rely on these other selves to survive. The game explores identity, regret, and the paths not taken in a deeply personal story framed by innovative gameplay mechanics.
