ATLUS has unveiled RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, a bold reimagining of the cult 2006 title from the Shin Megami Tensei universe. Set for release on June 19, 2025, across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC, this remaster breathes new life into a genre-blending classic with a cinematic overhaul and refined gameplay systems.
The trailer plunges viewers into an alternate-history 1930s Tokyo, where mysticism collides with industrial warfare. Players return as Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a demon-summoning detective unraveling a conspiracy tied to the rise of the enigmatic Soulless Army—mechanized abominations powered by forbidden technology and occult forces.
Visually, the remaster boasts enhanced character models, atmospheric lighting, and period-authentic redesigns, elevating the game’s moody Taisho-era setting. On the gameplay front, ATLUS has rebuilt its real-time battle system with smoother animations, responsive inputs, and access to over 120 demons, now fully integrated with skill evolution, fusion, and real-time commands.
Modern quality-of-life features—such as autosave, quicksave, adjustable difficulty, and a fully redesigned UI—ensure a smoother experience without compromising the series’ tactical edge. Full voice acting and updated cinematics lend new emotional weight to key narrative moments.
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available, offering exclusive demon companions, bonus gear, and skill-enhancing items. Pre-orders are now live.
With its fusion of detective noir, supernatural intrigue, and signature MegaTen combat, RAIDOU Remastered reintroduces a forgotten gem with cinematic polish and technical precision—ready to haunt a new generation.
